Solomon Fuss

Solomon F. Fuss age 83 of Lincoln, died Sunday February 8, 2015. Born in Lincoln to Jacob H. and Anna M. (Frank) Fuss. Sol graduated from Lincoln High. He was a corporal in the US Marine Corp having served overseas during the Korean conflict. After working for his father and brothers in the refuse business for many years, he was president of his own business, JETS Garbage Service, Inc. for 25 years. During his retirement years he lived in the hill country of Texas. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #8573 in Texas and an active member of the Lions Club. He was very proud to play Santa for a number of years in their Christmas parade. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Tina; brothers Jacob, Jr., Daniel, Rueben; sister Marie. He is survived by his son David (Frances) Hutson; step children Jim Howard, Janet (Bob) Gardner, Jo (Dick) Larson, grand children Abigail Hutson, Jacob Hutson, Jennifer (John) Stilley, Jody Howard, Laura (Scott) Bartolome, Linda (Mike) Longe and Amy Rawson; great grandchildren Carter Bartolome, Logan Bartolome, Aaron Longe, Will Longe, Madeline Rawson, Natalie Khuu and Sydnie Stilley. Memorial service 10:00am Friday, February 13, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Private Inurnment with military honors at Lincoln Memorial Park.
