Timmy Rodger Marchand

October 3, 1967 - August 27, 2025

Tim Marchand, youngest son of Alfred and Donna (Truax) Marchand, passed away Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

As a Lincoln native, he attended Belmont Elementary, Goodrich Middle, and Lincoln High Schools. Tim was a spirited man and, though sometimes was reserved, he cherished spending time with his loved ones. Holidays, birthdays, and gatherings were important to him because he loved being surrounded by his family and friends. In his free time he enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, going to the races, and watching sports. Tim was an avid fan of the Huskers, Jeff Gordon, and the 49ers.

Tim was a hard-working and skilled welder. He dedicated over 30+ years to welding, of which he spent at Lincoln Steel, Apollo Steel, and Midwest Steel. Tim took great pride in his career and the many things that he helped build throughout the city over the decades.

He is survived by his daughters Amber Marchand (Manuel Morales) and Brittany Marchand (Chris King); siblings Thomas Marchand (Tonya Pierce) and Tammy Marchand; grandchildren Hayden Marchand, KayLeigh King, and Braxton King; and his father Alfred Marchand.

He is preceded in death by his mother Donna (Truax) Marchand, and his brothers Gerry and Terry Marchand.
