William Aden

William “Bill” G. Aden age 100 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on July 6, 2016 in Lincoln. He was born on September 17, 1915 on a farm near Sterling, Nebraska to Gerhard and Jessie (Smith) Aden. He married Goldie Henderson on May 27, 1943. Bill is survived by his daughters, Meredith “Mickey” Larkins of Beatrice, Valerie and Bill Ellsworth of Lincoln, grandchildren, Kevin and Dusty Larkins of Greenwood, Kurt and Amy Larkins of Firth, Carrie and Kenny Reed of Adams, Chad and Kristin Ellsworth of St. Paul, Minnesota, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Donna Jean and Don Happel of North Bend. He was preceded in death by wife, Goldie, sisters, Geraldine Boslau, Aladine Boslau, brothers, Clarence, Mervin and Jim Aden. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Bill’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 3930 S. 19th Street, Lincoln. Private family interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church or Nebraska Lutheran High School.
