William E. Santero, age 63 of Lincoln, died Thursday, February 26, 2015. Born in Ogallala, NE to Ernest and Georgia Santero. “Wild Bill” as his friends called him was a people person, He loved to hangout and be with his friends. He enjoyed listening to Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash and enjoyed anything to do with John Wayne. He loved to fish, attend baseball games, visiting Pioneers Park and antique stores. He especially enjoyed trips with the Special Journeys and the ARC. Wild Bill liked to volunteer for Region V. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sisters Bonnie, Karen and Susan; his brother Michael; nieces and nephews and longtime friend Shane Caldwell. Funeral service 10am, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. visitation one hour before the service on Thursday.
