William W. Wilson

Bill was a man of few words, but his presence spoke volumes. No matter what was going on, he was always there. He loved his family deeply and showed it through countless ways. Bill loved to watch sports especially Husker Football and any sport his kids or grandkids were participating in. He loved Westerns and traveling. If you moved, Bill & Karen would undoubtedly be one of your first visitors.

Bill served in the Army both Stateside and in Korea. Bill did custom combining in various states and Production work while earning his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Nebraska. He worked for various power companies in Los Angeles, CA, Lincoln, NE, and Columbus, NE. Bill worked for Nebraska Dept of Roads before retiring in 2006.

Bill is survived by His 5 children, Chris (Janelle) Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK, Rebecca (Steve) Kapperman of Friend, NE, Todd (Carla) Wilson of Lincoln, NE, Greg Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mark (Jennifer) Wilson of Omaha, NE,

17 grandchildren/20 Great Grandchildren: Dustin (Jacque) Osborn; Alaetra (Austin) Slaten-Paisley, Natalee, Carter, Everleigh; Tara (Travis) Hill-Trey, Taya, Tynlee, Tristen; Chelsea Kapperman, Brett (Shelby) Kapperman, Amber (Dustin) Johansen-Carson, Paityn; Amy (Dylan) Cerny-Avery, Madilynn; Jayk (Kristen) Wilson-Bailey, Nora; Shali Brown, Brandon Wilson, Cassi (Keaton) Saunders-Amelia; Emily (Steven) Monroe, Anna (Weston) Garoutte-Aria; Olivia Wilson, Josh (Natalie) Wilson, Brittany (Mikey) Caposella-Paxton, Hendrix, Mason; Ashley (Dylan) Shannon-Marceline.

Brother Don (Arvilla) Wilson; Sisters Carol (Tony) Wenzl and Christal (Dan) Dehning, sisters-in-law Terry Wilson, Pat Greening and Jeanne Greening; Brother-in-law Lyle Stolte. Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Beloved Wife Karen, parents, grandson Logan, sisters-Merna, June, Betty, and brother Jim.

A visitation will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, on June 12, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will take place at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, on June 13, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Graveside with Military Honors will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
