Alirio Rengifo

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Milena, with whom he relocated to New Jersey in 1973. Born in Caloto, Colombia, he was a beloved father to his son, Juan Carlos, and a caring brother to Amparo Monteagudo. Alirio had a passion for soccer, enjoyed listening to music, and was known for being the life of the party, often entertaining others with his humor. His positive demeanor and love for spending time with family and friends were hallmarks of his character. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, always supportive of his family and friends, and was a devout Catholic who exemplified patience as a husband.

A visitation for Alirio will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Mary of the Assumption, 155 Washington Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07202.

In lieu of flowers, family has asked for all dentations to be sent to Saint Jude.
