Ana (“Anita”) Verenice Rivadeneira entered into Eternal Rest and Everlasting Peace as she went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2022. She was born in Quito, Ecuador South America and was raised in New Jersey since the age of 9. Over the years, she resided in Rahway, Linden, Roselle Park and Elizabeth.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, grandparents and niece. Elmo Rivadeneira Magdalena Rivadeneira, Elias and Carmela Cardenas and Nancy Guaman, respectively.
She was survived by her siblings: her brothers Carlos and his wife Sonia, Mauricio and his wife Jenny, sisters Martha and her husband Mauricio Guevara, Rocio, Paulina and her husband Jaime Guaman, and Nancy and her partner, Jesus Vega. A gymnast, lover of music (Fleetwood Mac being one of her favorite bands), was so very loving, kind, joyful, and a wonderful cook and baker. Anita always only saw the good in people and her unconditional love for her family, friends and animals especially dogs and cats, will be what everyone will treasure and remember her for.
She earned her Bachelor Business degree from Kean College and had worked as a financial advisor at the Cancer Center in Rahway NJ and was also a professional in-home care taker.
When asked for three words of how people who knew Ana (“Anita”) described her, so many words were offered by so many people, some of those words included:
Sweet, silly, smart, selfless, unconditional, baby-sitter extraordinaire, thoughtful, happy, gentle, joyful, helpful, amazing, radiant, beautiful, warm, maternal, caring, energetic, intelligent, generous, humble and giving. Christmas was her favorite time of the year because she really loved to GIVE.
…And of course, all mentioned Anita’s happy, contagious laughter!
But most of all Ana (“Anita”) was LOVED by ALL.
She will be deeply and dearly missed.
…Rest In Peace our Beautiful Ana (“Anita”)
