Andrea Donelan (DePaola, Maniscalco) passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 6, 1953, Andrea grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, nurtured by her devoted parents, Rocco and Rose DePaola.
Andrea graduated from Benedictine Academy and dedicated her life to supporting others through her work in the medical field. For four decades, she served as the Executive Director for the Morris County Medical Society and its many subsidiaries, earning deep respect and admiration from colleagues who cherished her caring spirit and unwavering commitment. Andrea’s warmth touched everyone she met, making people feel truly welcomed and valued wherever she went.
Andrea’s life was filled with joy, curiosity, and generosity. She loved to travel and opened her heart and home to wayward poodles in need of a family. She found happiness in crafting needle points, thoughtfully gifting them to friends and loved ones. Andrea was also an enthusiastic reader, often finishing several books in a single day—her thirst for knowledge and adventure was inspiring.
Andrea was reunited in peace with her beloved husband, James Donelan, and her parents, Rocco and Rose DePaola, whose memories she treasured deeply.
She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Melissa Maniscalco; her brother, Edward DePaola, and his family; her niece, Donna Vierschilling, and her family; her nephew, Edward DePaola, and his family; along with a wide circle of relatives and friends who feel privileged to have shared in Andrea’s life and love.
Andrea’s legacy shines brightly in the warmth, resilience, and kindness she brought into the world. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all those whose lives she touched.
