Angel Matos Zayas, age 93, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Angel was born September 12, 1927 to the late Meliton Matos and Isabel Zayas in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. Angel was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Angel is predeceased by his loving wife Arsenia Matos.
Angel is survived by his children Delia Diaz, Margarita Duarte, and Victor Matos as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Angel will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A private cremation will follow upon conclusion of the visitation.
