Angelo Charlie Travisano, 83, passed peacefully at home. Born on February 11, 1937, he was the oldest of four children and the son of Frank and Francis Travisano. Charlie was retired from Elizabethtown Gas after 40 years as a master plumber. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and avid Yankee fan.
Charlie was a kind, compassionate man who was the life of the party and always available to give a helping hand to anyone in need, especially his plumbing services.
He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia, brother Dominick, sister Esther Harris, and nephew Ray Colon.
Charlie is survived by daughters Vicky Marx, Deborah Russell and husband Brian, granddaughters Kelly and Shannon, brother Frank Travisano and wife Elizabeth and their children Joseph V. Colon and wife Kate, Sherri Lynn Cagnina and husband Sal, Frank Travisano Jr and six great nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, Linden NJ.
