He is survived by his wife, Myrta, his daughters, Jennifer, Diana and Amanda, his son, Nicholas, his brother, Neil, his sister, Nancy, his grandchildren, Matthew, Shane, Tara, Devin, Jacob, Kyla. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew, mother, Ernestine, and sisters, Martha and Annette.
Anthony was born in Plainfield, NJ and was a lifelong New Jersey resident. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and later Newark State University. He had a full career with the New Jersey State Parole Board and enjoyed many years in retirement.
Anthony pursued many different hobbies in his leisure time. He was an avid collector of historical coins. He read almost every night. He was the biggest Yankee fan you ever met and inspired a love of baseball not only in his kids, but his nieces, nephews and grandkids.
Tony was always joking and could make anyone laugh. He was the life of the party with a boisterous voice. He was proud to be an American and just as proud of his Italian heritage. Anyone could look to him for advice in their time of need. He supported his family with anything they wanted to do, he always showed up. He will be missed more than words can describe.
A visitation for Anthony will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. May he rest in peace.
