On April 10th, 1974, he married the love of his life Jacqueline Exantus. They lived in Linden, NJ before moving to Loganville, GA in 9/2017.
Calice had a large family with many brothers and sisters Carismene Merovee, Sultane (Ya) Merovee, Rosette Merovee, Elizabeth Merovee, Yves Merovee, Kechner Merovee, Achelus Merovee, Yolande Merovee, Theodare Armand, Marie Carmel Mesidort, and Melisna Isera.
Calice has 4 children Claudette Louis [Pierre Archippe louis], Maguy Lunie Merovee, Guy Maxis, and Carline Merovee-Edmond [Joseph Gregory Edmond].
Many grandchildren: Archelle Walker, Claude Louis, Shana Ilelaboye, Esther Louis, Regine Hargrett, Thamar Bennett, Borno-Jean Bordes, Kathrina Bordes, Mike Cherry, Cassandra Maxis, Sean Maxis, Kyle Calixte Edmond, Olivia Nicole Edmond, and Oreo Bella Edmond.
Great Grandchildren: Amiyah Louis-Jiles, Aiden Walker, Austin Walker, Anthony Micai Walker, Amari Warlker, Jasmine Louis, Eden Ilelaboye, Raniah Hargrett, Raelyn Hargrett, Bentley Hargrett, J’aiden Bennett, and Joy Bennett.

Calice worked as a taxi driver for the Elizabeth Cab (Whie cab) stationed at Newark airport. He worked as a cab driver from 1975 till he retired 8/2017.
He was an extremely hard-working man. He enjoyed soccer and his favorite soccer teams were Chelsea and Brazil National Team. He loved his native country of Haiti and went back to visit as often as possible. In his spare time, he loved to listen to Compas. Calice strong love of family and friends. He was generous with his time, and love for people. He loved to be surrounded by people and was loved wherever he went. He will be missed dearly. May he rest in heavenly peace.

A visitation for Calice will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Joseph the Carpenter Church, 140 E 3rd Ave, Roselle, NJ 07203. A funeral will follow at Rosehill Cemetery and Crematory, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
