Carlos Santiago

Carlos Roman Santiago, 74, of Newark, NJ passed away on January 29,2025. Born on August 14, 1950, in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Raul and Isaura Santiago. Carlos was a devoted father to his daughter, Yessenia Roman, and son, Carlos Roman. He was also a proud grandfather to his four beloved grandchildren, Marc, Nick, Nathan, and Kayla. He is survived by his two sisters, Nilda Rodriguez and Elaine Roman, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will deeply miss him. Carlos had a love for the simple joys in life. He cherished his coffee and donut visits, enjoyed the company of animals, loved fishing, and had a particular fondness for chocolates. His warm heart, infectious laughter, and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him. A funeral service will be held on February 5, 2025 to honor his memory. Carlos’s love for his family and his passion for the little things in life will forever be remembered. Rest in peace, Carlos. You will always be in our hearts.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, followed by a prayer service from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A private cremation will take place following all services.
