Carolyn Sitarski

Carolyn J. Sitarski, passed away April 16, 2022 after a short but intense battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Roselle, NJ for the last 35 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sitarski Jr., her son, Zachary, and her brother, Michael Pechefsky. Surviving family includes her three sons Edward III (EJ), Matthew and Philip along with her loving sisters Patricia (Patty) Palozzi and Donna Bondi. Carolyn will be remembered for her unflinching loyalty and her boundless love for her family and friends. She could always be counted on to lend her ear and share advice. Even in illness she exemplified the advice she gave throughout her life; “Just put one foot in front of the other, take the next step and then the next. Don’t get hung up on the small stuff.” She enjoyed an active life of camping, traveling and engaging with the community through Boy Scouts and little league. Her strong work ethic and positive disposition lead to a successful career in logistics, for the last 20 years she worked for Team Worldwide in Elizabeth, NJ. Carolyn was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister and beloved aunt.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph The Carpenter R.C. Church, 140 E 3rd Ave, Roselle, NJ 07203, Roselle, NJ 07203.
