It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Cary (Perez) Amoroso, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and dear friend.
Cary was a proud graduate of Eastside High School, Class of 1974. She went on to pursue a career as a beautician and hairstylist, where her creativity and passion allowed her to make others feel beautiful, confident, and cared for.
Cary loved to travel, experience new places, and create lasting memories with those she loved. She also found tremendous joy in cooking for her family. Her kitchen was more than a place to prepare meals. It was a gathering place filled with conversation, laughter, and love. Cooking was one of the many ways Cary cared for her family and brought everyone together.
Above all else, family was the center of Cary’s world. She loved deeply, gave generously, and always wanted the very best for those closest to her.
Cary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Esther Perez and Yrio Perez, with whom she is now peacefully reunited.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Carlos Amoroso; her four children, Jose Dopazo and his wife, Nicole; Mabel Torres and her husband, Jason; Carlos Gonzalez Jr. and his wife, Lauren; and Caitlyn Amoroso; her beloved brother, Andres Perez and his wife, Ileana; and her beloved nephews, Manny Perez and Andres Perez.
Among Cary’s greatest blessings were her eight cherished grandchildren: Mya, Kelly, Ayden, Melody, Giavanna, Josie, Ethan, and Hailey. Being their grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness, and the love, traditions, and memories she shared with them will remain in their hearts forever.
Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Cary demonstrated extraordinary strength, determination, and resilience. Even during her most difficult days, her love and concern for her family never wavered. She faced an incredibly difficult journey surrounded by those who loved her most, and her strength throughout it was a reflection of the remarkable woman she was.
To her husband, Cary was a devoted life partner with whom he shared life’s journey. To her children, she was a constant source of unconditional love, comfort, and guidance. To her grandchildren, she was a treasured grandmother whose love and influence will remain with them throughout their lives. To her brother, sister in law, nephews, extended family, and friends, she was a deeply loved presence whose place in their lives can never be replaced.
Although Cary’s passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, there is comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace and free from suffering. She is reunited with her beloved parents, while the tremendous love she gave during her lifetime continues through the family she leaves behind.
Cary will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Her memory will live on in every meal shared, every family gathering, every story told, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
