Celestino R Gonzalez

Celestino was born April 6, 1938 in Cuba, the son of Zoila Perez and Manuel Gonzalez. He came to the United States in 1968 following the American dream. He worked for 32 years at CeDe Candy Co. until his retirement. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Celestino was a life-long reader who instilled the love of education and reading in his children. He loved all types of latino music and enjoyed watching documentaries, westerns and sappy old-time mexican movies. He was a friend to all and loved to always be telling stories and jokes.

Celestino is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elsa, son Jesus, daughter Mayra, a loving daughter-in-law Lissette and 3 grandchildren (Daniel, Alexander and Vanessa). He will be remembered with love.

Celestino respectfully requests that we remember the good times. Please do not wear black to the funeral or the viewing.

A visitation for Celestino will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rosedale Cemetery, 355 East Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
