Celiane Certil

March 2, 1962 – February 17, 2025
Obituary of Celiane Certil
IN THE CARE OF

Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home

Celiane Certil, age 62 passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Celiane Certil, known affectionately “Gro Manman” born on March 2, 1962, in Dessalines, but raised in Saint Marc, Haiti. She was a woman of many talents and a heart full of generosity. Her warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Celiane is survived by her two daughters, Jeannette and Acilia, her grandson Jordan, her sister Vida, and three brothers, Raymond, Pastor Norvil and Ones.

Celiane was the daughter of Edouard Certil and Marie Jeannise Jean Baptiste, both deceased.

She attended Georges Angus School known “Ecole Fannie” from kindergarten to 8th grade. Then, she attended Mixed Modern College to pursue her education. Travelled to the United of America in the year 2001 and worked as production associate. She was a good worker. She was a mentor, quiet woman always available, and willing to help everyone no matter who you are.

She received Jesus as personal savior and master on October 7, 2017. Therefore, she always devoted to call on to God for healing but unfortunately on February 17, 2025 she was gone and said good by to all families, friends, doctors, nurses and home health aides. One thing that will take on her mind for ever is her dear sister Vida who has been assisting and taking care of her since 2017 till death. She was always at Celiane bedside and did her best to do beyond her needs. Oh “what a good sister. Today, this funeral sends a message to everyone to manifest love to everyone no matter what because life is short and fragile.

Celiane didn’t live fullest life but Job declares “and said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD” (Job 1:21). Celiane always had a smile on her face even during his sickness, she always made us laugh. We love her so much but God loves her more than us. Celiane will be missed. Good bye Celiane, we will never forget you. Peace be with you!

A visitation for Celiane will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 1:35 PM to 2:00 PM at Saint Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum, 53 Inman Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07067.
