

Dorothy Ellen Anzelone (Heuer) passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2026. Born in Cranford NJ on December 22,1931 she lived most of her life in Elizabeth, NJ moving to Garwood NJ six years ago. She graduated from Battin High School in 1949. She worked for Anheuser Busch Inc. in Newark NJ starting in 1953 as a part-time worker and later becoming full-time before retiring in 1993. She was an avid bowler most of her life, she bowled in many leagues and was the Secretary of the Linden Seniors League for several years. She bowled in many National tournaments all over the country. She loved to watch the Mets on TV. She had many hobbies. She loved to sew and became very interested in painting. She had some of her artwork displayed at various county events. She loved to garden and had a plot in the community garden. She was always first to sign up for events at her senior apartment complex, often reminding the staff to put the signup sheets out. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and volunteered with many groups there.
She was predeceased by her parents Alice and Reinhold, her brothers Reynold and Kenneth and her daughter Kathryn.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Marshall and her husband Michael, her grandchildren Michael Jr. and Amy and her son David Anzelone. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends

Visitation will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 9:30 am from the funeral home. Interment Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
