On her birthday, January 21, 2026, a day that always brought joy to those who loved her, Edna Maria Ginarte Moreira, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She left this world wrapped in love, just as she lived her life, giving it freely to everyone around her. She was born January 21, 1960, in Bayamo, Cuba, a daughter of the late Senovio Ginarte and Edna Camps. Edna was a devoted and loving wife to Humberto Moreira for 44 years. adored her and Lala adored them right back with hugs, jokes and showered them with enough love and affection to last them a lifetime. One of her greatest joys was showing up for them,
whether it was a Girl Scout event, a dance recital, a school award ceremony or any event that celebrated their accomplishments.
Scrapbooking was one of Edna’s greatest joys. Through her craft she lovingly preserved her family's memories, pouring her creativity and heart into every page. She cherished scrapbooking weekends with her girlfriends and proudly displayed her unique work of art.
For over 40 years she worked as a legal secretary, most notably with Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith and Davis. For over 20 years she served her community as a Girl Scout Leader and Service Unit Volunteer. Edna had a special gift for bringing laughter and love into every situation, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who knew her.
