

Eliseo Asalde, age 80, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born in Lambayeque, Peru, Eliseo came to the United States in 1982 in search of a better life for his family. He worked for many years as a butcher at Pathmark, where he was known for his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. Beyond his profession, Eliseo was a true handyman who loved building and fixing things—always ready with a tool in hand and a solution in mind.
Family was at the heart of Eliseo's life. He is survived by his loving wife, Anamaria, six children, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was a simple family gathering or cheering together during a soccer match.
A passionate soccer fan, Eliseo was a lifelong supporter of Real Madrid, rarely missing a game and always rooting for his beloved team with enthusiasm.
Eliseo will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for family, his craftsmanship, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Saint Jude's Hospital in Eliseo's memory.
A visitation for Eliseo will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
