Emma A Soto Mantilla

Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida hermana, Emma Anay Soto Mantilla, quien partió de este mundo el 7 de noviembre de 2025 a la edad de 76 años. Nació el 2 de enero de 1949 en La Habana, Cuba.

Anay, como cariñosamente la llamaban familiares y amigos, fue una persona llena de vida, amor y generosidad. Siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudar a los demás y tocó las vidas de muchos con su bondad, su sonrisa y su buen sentido del humor, típico de los cubanos. Fue una mujer positiva que enfrentó el cáncer y su enfermedad del corazón durante años con valentía. Por eso y mucha cosa más, siempre fue y seguirá siendo nuestro héroe.

Le sobreviven su hijo, Jesús Eliezer García; su nuera, Milagros Figueroa; sus nietas, Danay y Danairy; sus yernos, Henry y Franco; sus bisnietos, Henry Jesús y Gael; así como sus hermanas Teresa y Magaly; sus cuñados Rafael y Arquelio; su sobrina, Camila con su esposo Eric y sus dos niñas Miranda y Pilar; su sobrino y ahijado Emmanuel; y primos y amigos que residen en Cuba, junto con muchas otras personas que la recordarán con ternura. Su legado de fe en Dios y alegría vivirá en nosotros por siempre.

El funeral se llevará a cabo en el Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home el jueves, 11 de diciembre de 2025, de 10 AM a 1 PM. En lugar de flores, quienes lo deseen pueden donar a la American Cancer Society o a la American Heart Association.

Descansa en paz. Te llevaremos en nuestros corazones para siempre. Con el amor único y entrelacé que existe entre hermanas, Teresa y Magaly.

Anay, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was a person filled with life, love, and generosity. She was always willing to help others and touched the lives of many with her kindness, her smile, and her good sense of humor, typical of Cubans. She was a positive woman who faced cancer and her heart disease for years with bravery. For that and many other reasons, she was always and will continue to be our hero.

She is survived by her son, Jesús Eliezer García; her daughter-in-law, Milagros Figueroa; her granddaughters, Danay and Danairy; her sons-in-law, Henry and Franco; her great-grandchildren, Henry Jesús and Gael; as well as her sisters Teresa and Magaly; her brothers-in-law Rafael and Arquelio; her niece, Camila with her husband Eric and their two daughters Miranda and Pilar; her nephew and godson Emmanuel; and cousins and friends residing in Cuba, along with many others who will remember her fondly. Her legacy of faith in God and joy will live on in us forever.

The funeral will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, those who wish can donate to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Rest in peace. We will carry you in our hearts forever. With the unique love and bond that exists between sisters, Teresa and Magaly.

A visitation will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, located at 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ, 07036, on December 11, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with prayers taking place at 11AM.

A private cremation will follow all services.
