Epi,
I am so saddened by your loss. I keep thinking of all the times you would come over as a teen to hang out with Frank at our apartment. I keep thinking of how much you helped us when our mom passed away and of the last time you reached out when my dad passed away in June. I re-read your message regarding the loss of Tio. You were always there for our brother and for my family.

During our last exchange you said you were family and I agreed. I told you that you were my brothers, brother and my cousins, cousin and therefore you are my family forever. Losing you is losing a family member. Your heart broke for Tio Tony and my heart breaks for you.

My deepest condolences to your wonderful wife Magda, your beautiful boys, your sister Zaida & brother Luis. You were a great son, brother, father, husband, friend and family member.

You will never be forgotten. May your soul rest in heavenly peace as you join your loved ones in heaven.

Sending healing thoughts and hugs to your family.

Silvia
Here are some pics a friend of mine who remembered you from HS sent me. Even after this long he actually remembered you as being a great and intelligent guy.

Still feels surreal as prep to say goodbye. I was never one for many words. But you will be missed my brother. Rest in peace my friend. Rock on the highway to heaven in your 67 Camaro. Till we meet again.

Epi! Papá, nos dejaste una gran tristeza y me faltó tiempo para poder compartir con ustedes nuevos momentos y poner en práctica aquello que me dijiste en alguna ocasión en Colombia, lo atesoraré de ahora en adelante como un valioso consejo. Vamos a extrañar mucho tu llegada junto a tu familia.

Edilberto, Sandra, Anny, Diana y Alejo.

Epi,
My heart is broken to hear you are gone. You were a good friend to me and my family. You had my back when I was hurting and for that I will be eternally grateful! I’m just sorry that I couldn’t be there for you. I will always cherish our times working the streets and sharing laughs and tears as well! You were a good man! May you RIP. To all of Epi’s family may God show you his Grace and Mercy during this time.

Biography

Don’t think of him as gone away
His journey has just begun,
Life holds so many facets this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and
the tears in a place of
warmth and comfort.
Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that
we could know today how
nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the
hearts of those he touched…
For nothing loved is ever lost and
he was loved so much.
We will be gathering to share some of our
favorite memories or stories, to laugh, to cry and
to remember a wonderful
person who will be greatly missed.
