Francisca Roman

Francisca (Negron Torres) Roman, age 96, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born in 1928 in the neighborhood of Coabey, township of Jayuya Puerto Rico, to humble respectable parents with great values . From a mixed race with strong Taino roots and characteristics . A God-fearing, virtuous , wise woman of God of high intellect, noticeable by her development and domination of the topic of conversations had.

With her strong personality, character and integral values She raised 12 children with her loving husband , Juan Roman de Jesus. We thank God for the blessing of the 96 years he gifted her to share with all of us.

A visitation for Francisca will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church | Elizabeth, NJ, 417 Union Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. A funeral will follow at Evergreen Cemetery & Crematory, 1137 N Broad St, Hillside, NJ 07205.

Nació en el Barrio coabey de Jayuya en el año 1928, de padres de humilde cuna, de raza mestiza con fuertes características taínas. Mujer temerosa De Dios, sabia y virtuosa que denotaba gran inteligencia. Lo demostraba cuando desarrollaba un tema. Con su fuerte personalida, carácter y valores íntegros levantó una familia de 12 hijos junto a su amado esposo Juan Roman de Jesús. Damos gracias a Dios por los bendecidos 96 años de vida que le regaló Dios para compartir con todos nosotros.
