Germania Pena, age 89, of Staten Island, New York passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Germania was born August 6, 1931 in Guayaquil, Ecuador and came to America in the 1970's. She was caring, generous and extremely friendly to all. Germania enjoyed cooking and eating with her family and large gatherings. She would wear beautiful dresses and jewelry and mingle with guests and family.
Germania is survived by her loving son Xavier Vasquez and spouse Minerva Vasquez and grandchildren Xavier Vasquez Jr and Vanessa Vasquez.
A visitation for Germania will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Family and guests are invited to meet at the funeral home Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12 PM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
