Gladys M Cruz

Gladys M Cruz, age 96, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with her loving daughter Christine by her side. Gladys was born February 24, 1925 in Harlem, NY. Gladys was the Pioneer/Founder and Pastor of Iglesia Cristiana El Redentor Church until her passing. She was a loving woman of great wisdom who lived a holy and godly life. Many sought her counsel and she had the privileges of marrying many couples, as well as saving many marriages. She preached the unadulterated Word of God and was a woman of great faith and who is now full of joy in the presence of her Lord, Jesus.

Gladys was predeceased by her father Eugenio Rafael Chaffardet and mother Cruz Ana Arocha de Chaffardet. Gladys is survived by her loving children Eugene Anthony Tilelli, Christine Ana Tilelli, Carol Eva Williams, Melanie Faith Cyrus (Brian), Theresa Sarah Cruz, and Juanita Arbelo - Cruz (Josue), and her grandchildren Matthew William Tilelli (Robyn), Daniel Adam Tilelli (Gina), Michael Vincent Tilelli, Jennifer Lynn Breuninger, Melanie Nicole Winters (Jeffrey), Melissa Christine Birchler (Colin), Jessica Carol Cerrato (AJ), Christine Marie Nogueira, Gabriela Nogueira, Josue Manuel Arbelo, Siarah Esther Arbelo and Josiah Anthony Arbelo, and her great grandchildren Anthony Michael Breuninger, Thomas Jeffrey Breuninger, Olivia Faith Cerrato, Kiptyn Thomas Cerrato, Madilyn Sue Cerrato, Peyton Cyrus Eid, Savannah Lee Cyrus-Irwin, Jeremiah Paul Tilelli, Avigail Elora Tilelli, Isaac Elias Tilelli and Delilah Rose Mendez.

The visitation and funeral service for Gladys will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036 (for immediate family only). The burial will follow Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Rosedale Cemetery, E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
