Dear Family,

My apologies I won’t be able to make it to the funeral based on unforeseen circumstances. 
The passing of Harold was an unexpected  reality, but will always be remembered for his kind and thoughtful ways for others, a blessing to many. My condolences to you Viv, Tim and Max and family. 

My prayer for you . . .

May the Lord bring you the comfort and compassion that only He alone can bring and He will, because it’s His promise to you. Jesus said . . . Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted, and because He alone is God, He is also a rewarder of those who sincerely seek Him, that is a Word for you in this season receive it my precious family and when you do He will bring you a peace that the world cannot give, neither can they take it away. I pray that He will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding and guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus, and in His Name because He is the Prince of Peace, and I pray this in His Name, Amen.

Please let me know if I can help you, although I am not present today, know that I am here for you in other ways that I hope can be helpful to you.

Harold was a good friend.  I knew him for about twenty years.  I would visit him and Tmothy at his place of business and take them lunch from time to time.  Harold was a very kind and generous person.  He had a kind spirit and a great sense of humor.  He was very devoted to his church and looked forward to attending Sunday services.
He often spoke about his family.  He loved all his grandchildren and was very proud of his children.
I feel very blessed to have been a friend of Harold.  My condolences to the family.  I am so sorry that I could not be there in person to pay my respect.  May he rest in peace.

I want to extend my deepest condolences to each of you. Your father was not only a dear friend but someone who walked with me through nearly 40 years of life’s ups and downs. His kindness, wisdom, and steady presence meant so much to me, and I can only imagine how deeply you are feeling his loss.

Please know that I’m holding you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in your memories, strength in one another, and peace knowing how loved and respected he truly was. If there is anything you need or anything I can do, I am here.

Harold was a wonderful man, I meet him while working at Rodman & Yaruss where he taught me so much about refining . He was a hard working caring man. May he rest in Peace.

My name is Bernard Senquis. I'm Vivian's brother.  From my family to yours, we send our deepest condolences to your family.  I  had the pleasure to personally know Harold.  
He was always smiling.  A very hard working man.  Harold you will be missed.  You've become an Angel in God's army.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of my good friend Harold he was full of life. He was a happy, loving spirit who treated everybody that he knew with dignity and respect, and in kind dignity and respect, was returned to him.. I cannot believe that he passed away. I just talked to him last week. He seemed in good spirits. I will pray for the repose of Harold soul and I will pray for him for the rest of my life. We first met when I worked at Rodman & Yaruss.
We had quite a crew working down there, my father, Tom (Gaetano) Ricci , myself, Tom  Ricci, Jethro, Benjamin aka Benny, Ronnie Waxman and Norine Mitchell, and a slew of other workers.
 I know for sure that my dad, Benny, Ronnie Waxman, and whoever from our group proceeded him in death will be waiting for him at the gates of heaven to welcome him home. I never met Harold son and I met Rachel 43 years ago when she and  my first born son were born they were babies together I remember them at my mom and dad‘s house. I wish I had the opportunity to meet his son, but I want him to know that his father was loved and respected by many people long before he had his own business.

I am still trying to understand why I will not be able to hear or see my good friend Harold that I have known for most of my life from being my barber in Panama. I was lucky to encounter him again on Sixth Avenue around the diamond district one day on my way to lunch in the late 1970’s. We connected again and remained in contact where I would go to get the best advice in dealing with gold. I was looking forward to bringing him the fruit cake he always got at the end of the year to share with his clients.  Rest in peace my friend. My heart aches.
