

Born in Lutcza, Poland, Jan came to the United States in 1982 and made his home in Linden. He worked as a machine operator for Unique Metal Products in Rahway for nearly 40 years.
Jan was a hardworking man dedicated to providing for his family. He had an expert knowledge of metals, a passion for gardening, and a gift for storytelling. In his free time, he enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching the news, visiting Chinese buffets, and relaxing with a Heineken beer. Above all, Jan loved spending time with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Maria G. (Jaje) Turon; his loving children, Piotr and his wife Anna, and Joanna Cubero; and his dear sisters, Maria Pyra and Aleksandra Gwizdek, both of Poland. He was a cherished grandfather to Jakub and his wife Danielle, David and his girlfriend Ariann, Natalia, Caroline, Dominick, and Giuliana, and a proud great-grandfather to Levi.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jan will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, located at 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Friday, November 14, 2025, 9:00 am from the funeral home.
