I wish I knew Aunt JoAnne better. My memories are of someone who treated the cuts I got when I fell between the Main Street porch and the bushes, the first adult I ever heard speak frankly (it was titillating), and someone who helped buck me up during breast cancer treatment.
My condolences to JoAnne's siblings who miss someone they grew up with and especially to my cousins and their families who have lost their mom.

Joanne had a soft spot for animals [including Fives’ doberman pinscher], her dog Pal, the rescue of cats during the flood, and the rabbits under the back porch. Many pleasant memories. Joanne will be remembered in our prayers.

Joanne, my sister taught me how to play the piano for which I am grateful. She was an accomplished pianist who accompanied me as I sang. I have fond memories of going to the livestock exchange, horseback riding with her and cleaning the ****. I will keep Joanne in my thoughts and prayers along with her lovely family.
