With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved John D Rogers, 65, of Linden, NJ, who departed this world on March 30, 2024, surrounded by his cherished loved ones. Though his journey was marked by struggles, John will forever be remembered for the boundless love he shared, the kindness he extended, and the countless moments of joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.
John was born on August 11, 1958, and from the very beginning, his gentle soul and kind heart touched the lives of all who crossed his path. Despite facing trials that would have tested the strongest among us, John approached each day with a quiet determination and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. His steadfast love and devotion were a beacon of light in times of darkness, offering comfort and solace to those in need.
Among the many joys in John's life, none brought him greater happiness than spending time with his beloved grandson, Aiden. Their bond was a testament to the love that John radiated, and the memories they shared will forever be treasured by all who witnessed their special connection.
Though John faced his own battles, his heart remained pure, filled with a generosity and kindness that knew no bounds. His love for his family was immeasurable, and the strength he drew from their unwavering support carried him through even the darkest of days. In the face of adversity, John's resilience and compassion continued to shine brightly, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
In addition to his devotion to his family, John found solace and joy in his passion for music and true crime novels. These pursuits not only provided him with moments of peace and happiness but also served as a reminder of the multifaceted person he was beyond his struggles.
John leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Suk Rogers; sons, John Im and Andy Im; grandson, Aiden Im; daughter, Kate Rogers; and a host of family and friends who were blessed to have known him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his boundless love and kindness.
A visitation to honor and celebrate John Rogers's life will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, with a prayer service from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm. A private cremation will follow.
