Remember Joe as one of the truly kind and helpful members of the Class of 1960 at St. Patrick, H.S. So glad to learn from the obituary notice and tribute video that he had a successful career and a wonderful family. He deserved every good thing in life, since he never lost that great quality he had as a young man 60 years ago.

Pat,
Mary and I have shared our families and our freindship with you and Joe for over forty years. It's hard to imagine a weekend or a trip without him. It's hard to imagine listening to his many stories.
We will remember all that we shared together through those many years. Joe is at peace now and in our prayers. We ask that God give you the strength to get through these difficult days. We will be there for you. When we all get to St Gertrudes we'll enjoy many nights at the "May I" table. All our love, Ted and Mary and Family.

Joan and I were in CYAC several years with Joe. He was a great guy. Quick witted and always ready with a quick joke. I know he worked for many years in high positions in Elizabeth City Hall. Our deepest sympathies to Patty and their entire family.

I worked with Joe many years in the employment of the City of Elizabeth. I was in the Water and Sewers department and depended on Joe in his role as assistant City Engineer and keeper of the secrets to help me when we faced a dilemma. He knew where all the sewer and water maps were located and especially those marked in error that he had explored over the years. I also remember Joe at the Elmora Little League games in Phil Rizzuto Park on North Avenue and Morris Avenue. He was a gracious gentleman who always had time for me . He will be missed , RIP
