Josephine Asiain

Josephine Asiain, age 93, of Edison, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Josephine was born February 7, 1929 in Yonkers NY to the late Emilio and Josefa Gonzalez. As a young woman, she worked as a "secretary" to an accounting firm on Wall Street until she met the love of her life, Victor. After getting married, Josephine spent the rest of her life as a devoted wife and beloved mother and grandmother.

Josephine is predeceased by husband Victorino. She is survived by daughter Maria, son Joseph and spouse Karen and her beloved grandchildren Emalee and Joseph.

Her kind gentle ways never faltered and is remembered for her unconditional love to everyone. She also loved animals..all animals. She supported many organizations in the aide of animal care. Her love, laughter and sweet disposition will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A graveside service for Josephine will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067. Friends and family are invited to gather at St. Gertrude Cemetery's main office by 9:45AM. Upon entering the main entrance, go left at the round-about and the office is straight ahead on the right hand side (at the stop sign).
