Lakeshia Rogers

Keshia, as many called her, received her education thru Jersey City Public School System graduating from Lincoln High School in 1995. Keshia was known to be a great saver turning 15 cents into 15 dollars. With her strong will and determination, she was able to purchase her first home and relocate to Newark, NJ. Keisha was very crafty and enjoyed Home Décor, shopping for bargains at her favorite stores Ross and Targets. She also enjoyed having endless conversations on the phone with her mom and sister and a love for exotic flowers. Keshia worked for USAlliance Federal Credit Union for many years, until unseen circumstances required her to be a stay-at-home Mom full-time. Keshia will be missed dearly and will be remember by her affectionate smile.

Keshia is survived by her 2 children Amir and Alena Benekin, her mother Annie Morgan (Leroy) and father James Rogers. 3 brothers Tim Rogers of Rahway, NJ, DaShawn Rogers of Bishopville, S.C, Dallas Rogers of Darlington S.C. 1 sister Alicia Morgan-Champagne (Desmond) of Sumter, S.C. Sister/Friends Tammy Meggett-Wright, Katie Chambliss, Wonella Ladson, Margiana Moore and a Host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Lakeshia will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A private cremation will follow services.
