It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to an amazing man, Luiggi Sacca, of Rahway N.J., who passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 51 years old.
Luiggi was born on August 8, 1971, in Elizabeth, N.J. He attended St. Anthony’s grammar school and graduated from Thomas Edison Technical & Vocational High School in 1990. He went on to become the owner of D&V Auto Body for over 30 years. In 2007, he married the love of his life, Laura, and they created a beautiful life and family together with their two children, Luiggi Antonio, and Lucca Martino.
Luiggi was the patriarch; he was a man who cherished his family and his lifelong friends.
He was the go-to guy for everyone, no matter what you needed he was there with his heart of gold and smile that lit up any room. If you were lucky to meet him, even just once, you knew the positive impact he brought.
His life was filled with the love he had for his two sons. A devoted father, there was nowhere else he would rather be, than with his boys. He enjoyed the time they spent together doing outdoor activities, coaching their baseball teams, teaching them life lessons, and instilling morals and values in their daily lives. “No love is greater than that of a father’s love for his sons.”
A devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Luiggi is survived by his loving wife Laura (née Gonzalez). His sons, Luiggi Antonio and Lucca Martino. His beloved mother, Maria Antonia Sacca (née Condina). Siblings, Stefano (Delores), John and Tina Siclari (Anthony).
Nieces and nephews, Stefanie (Mike), Michael (Angie), Brian (Courtney), Juliett, Gabriella, Antonio, Gianna, Isabella, Joseph, Melina and Luna.
He was also blessed with many godchildren, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and friends that became family.
His mother-in-law, Laura Gonzalez, sisters in law Natalie & Gabby.
He was predeceased by his father Antonio Sacca and brother Anthony Sacca.
Luiggi was larger than life and touched so many lives that his memory will live on forever.
