I am so sorry to have heard about Luz’s passing.  I had the pleasure of working closely with Luz at Armani Exchange.  When my daughter was young and needed encouragement in speaking up, I told her about this Planning Manager that worked for me who was incredibly smart and I would tell this manager that she was the one person I wanted to hear from and have her share with the others her brilliant ideas and insights…..that person was Luz! Wow- I never in my wildest dreams would think this day would come at such a young age ! Zeny you were more then perfect you were amazing! You were smart, independent,caring,loving,positive and the best family oriented feee spirited person I can ever had known! I love you so much zeny I wish we can go back in time I would do so many things differently! You never know how much you miss someone u til there gone! I wish you can come back we all need you! You were such a good daughter to your mom, you were the best role model for all our children ! I have anger hurt and pain but I know you wouldn’t want to see us like this !!! You want the best for all of us - there no one that cansay a negative thing about you because you were perfect in every way ! We miss you so much zeny ! We finally got you here in GA and didn’t even get to spend the quality time we were supposed to spend together !!! You were my mom’s only sister. I have blood aunts, but honestly, you were my only real aunt. I still have that book you gave me on my bedroom counter. Zeny, I wish you and I had gotten to speak and see one another at least one more time. I swear, even when I was upset, I didn’t stop loving you. You were my mom’s twin flame, her soul sister. You were definitely her Siamese twin, the way you two were conjoined at the hip. you two showed me that platonic soulmates are a real thing. You brought my mom so much peace, you brought her clarity and strength. Whenever my mom went through something, I worried, but I worried so much less because I knew she had you. You were her escape from reality. Your warm hugs, your warmer smiles, and easily one of the warmest presences I had ever been blessed enough to be in. Thank you for the years worth of reports you printed for me because I didn’t have a printer. Thank you for all the tasty food and the chisme. Thank you for letting me randomly scare you and hide in your apartment. The kid, I know they’ll remember you as their favorite auntie (as if you have competition). This is a painful reminder that life is too, too short. I know you are in good hands with Him, I just wish we had you longer. I hope that your time in Eternity is blissful and peaceful. You deserve so much more than what you received because you always gave more than what you received. Your random dance parties with the kids, you geeking out over them with the dog. You smiled the brightest when you were with the people you loved, and it upsets me greatly that I hadn’t seen you in about a year when we used to live side by side my entire life. Your life was starting to give you what you so earnestly wanted and deserved. I feel you were robbed of what you deserved but I hope you find all of those blessings and more with Him. You’ll forever be our number one aunt, you’ll forever be our “Sunny.” We love you so much, Zeny. I love you..

My mom had only one sister and that was you. When she felt alone or overwhelmed, she had you. When she felt insane, she had you. You without a doubt in my mind were my mom’s platonic soulmate. Her Siamese twin, with the way you two were always conjoined at the hip. I genuinely wish I got to speak and see you one more time. Life is far too short and this was a damning reminder of that. I still have that religious book you gave me, it’s right in my room on my counter. I see it every day before I leave. I have aunts by blood but honestly you’re the really aunt I had. I knew you’d be there if I needed you, and the love I felt from you was unconditional. And even when I was mad, I can’t act like I stopped loving you because I didn’t. You’re still my aunt and I won’t refer to you as otherwise. You worked hard and kept your morals in tact.. you deserved so much more than what you received because you always gave more than what you received. I know God will handle your soul with love and care, I just wish we had more time with you before you were reunited with him. Thank you for letting me hide out in your apartment, thank you for the yummy food, yearssss worth of reports I needed printed because I didn’t have a printer. Thank you for bringing my mom peace when we were unable to because she didn’t want us to carry her burdens. I truly hope you rest in peace because you always brought peace to us. I love you so much, Zeno, and I’m sorry I was unable to express that effectively to you because you deserved nothing less than the best this world has to offer. You were always smiling and you always made the kids laugh and create new memories. They won’t forget the dancing and random fun moments with you. You’ve helped us out in so many ways: emotionally, mentally, and physically. Thank you for your warm hugs, your warmer smile, and easily one of the warmest presences I have ever had to blessing to be in. We all miss you and honestly, we will always miss you, Zeny. We love you. 

I still will never understand why you had to leave us. You were our "Sunny". Zeny, I can't find the words to explain how I need you here. I wish we were just back home getting ready to eat or just watch tv and talk. You've been my sanity for so many years. God only takes the best, and I know you were welcomed with open arms because you're one of the best ones! God has ALWAYS been so proud of you, I know he's got you now. And as sweet and beautiful, faithful as you were, I know you don't want us sad, but we can't help it. 
I was blessed to have you so many years, I wish I had more. So many more. Your Heart of gold, that smile that brightens our souls. The best hugs ever. The beautiful laughter that was contagious. I could go on and on. I will forever miss you sissy. I will forever love you. I will forever carry you in my heart, and I will make you proud. Your nieces and nephew wish they could hug you, so if you feel a squeeze, I told them hug you with their soul. I'm sure your beautiful spirit will feel it. I love you. My Zeny. My "Sunny". 

My dear cousin...Where do I even begin?  My heart is broken as is the hearts of many. From the time you were born you were like a little doll in our home. I can still remember Maritza and I playing with you, as young as we were we adored you. It was such an honor seeing you grow up to be such an amazing, dedicated and loving woman to your mom, brothers and extended family. Your smile was truly one of a kind! As Evelyn just said... "she smiles with her eyes".  I will forever miss you.  I wanted to share this pic because no matter how old we are, I will always remember you as our little cousin, our little doll. I pray that God, my sister Maritza and my brother Carlos (your godfather) welcomed you in heaven with open arms. May you be celebrating with them in God's kingdom until we all are together again. I love you Zeny from the bottom of my heart.
