Marie Lamercie Jean-Charles, aged 83, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born in Cabaret, Haiti, in 1941. Marie had a passion for watching WWE wrestling, enjoyed the Jerry Springer show, and loved taking long walks in the park. An exceptional cook, she cherished the time spent with her family. She is survived by her children: Joseph Altidort and his wife Rosie, Fritzner and his wife Yasmine, Widner and his wife Darline, Marie Andree Jacques and her husband Rubens Charles, Marie Cornelie Jacques, and Celie Valcine along with her husband Princema Saintfort. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Chrisostome Jean Charles. Marie was a beloved grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Marie will be held at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home on February 6, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM, followed by a funeral mass on February 7, 2025 at the Bethesda French Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 10AM located at 302 E 9th Ave, Roselle, NJ. Interment will follow at Saint Gertrude's Cemetery. 53 Inman Ave Colonia NJ.
