She was always eager to learn new things and after retirement she began taking computer classes at the Department for the Aging in Manhattan. Marie was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to her family. Spending quality time with her husband and children was important to her and she often said that they were all that she ever needed. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness, compassion, and selflessness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was also known for her quick wit and impeccable style. She was tough, but sweet and extremely humble. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her loved her. She was a straight shooter and told it like it was.
