Marino Cobo Campo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marino Cobo Campo, who departed this life on July 3, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born in Buga, Colombia, Marino proudly served his country as a Marine before pursuing a career as a skilled electrical engineer. He built a life rooted in love, integrity, and dedication in the United States.

For 55 years, he was a devoted husband to Gladis Rodriguez and a loving father to Paola and Christian. Marino’s kindness, wisdom, and unwavering generosity left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He was deeply involved in their lives—always present, always cheering them on. Whether watching them play baseball and softball or proudly supporting his granddaughter at horse competitions, Marino found immense happiness in their accomplishments. He also treasured his time with his daughter-in-law Yeny, sharing warm conversations, and with his son-in-law, spending meaningful moments both at work and at home.

Marino was a man of quiet strength and endless compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand. His gentle spirit and deep love for his family will forever be remembered.

He is lovingly survived by his seven grandchildren—Valery, Annabella, Samantha, David Jr., Matthew, Michael, and Sebastian—each of whom carry his memory in their hearts every single day. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy of love, service, and devotion lives on. Forever loved. Forever missed.

A visitation for Marino will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, followed by a prayer service from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Con profundo dolor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Marino Cobo Campo, quien partió de esta vida el 3 de julio de 2025 a la edad de 77 años.

Nacido en Buga, Colombia, Marino sirvió con orgullo a su país como infante de marina, y más tarde se convirtió en un talentoso ingeniero eléctrico. En los Estados Unidos, construyó una vida basada en el amor, la integridad y la dedicación.

Durante 55 años fue un esposo devoto para Gladis Rodríguez y un padre amoroso para Paola y Christian. La bondad, sabiduría y generosidad incondicional de Marino dejaron una huella imborrable en todos quienes lo conocieron.

Su mayor alegría fue compartir tiempo con sus nietos. Siempre presente, siempre animándolos, disfrutaba verlos jugar béisbol y sóftbol, y se sentía inmensamente orgulloso al acompañar a su nieta en sus competencias ecuestres. También valoraba profundamente los momentos compartidos con su nuera Yeny, con quien mantenía cálidas conversaciones, y con su yerno, con quien disfrutaba tanto del trabajo como de la vida en casa.

Marino fue un hombre de fortaleza silenciosa y corazón generoso, siempre dispuesto a tender una mano amiga. Su espíritu noble y su profundo amor por su familia jamás serán olvidados. Lo recuerdan con amor sus siete nietos—Valery, Annabella, Samantha, David Jr., Matthew, Michael y Sebastian—quienes lo extrañan profundamente y llevan su memoria en el corazón cada día. Aunque ya no esté con nosotros, su legado de amor, servicio y dedicación vivirá por siempre. Por siempre amado. Por siempre recordado.
