July 20, 1949 – November 2, 2026
Marlene K. Lynch, 77, was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend who touched the lives of many throughout her years.
She was the beloved mother of her two sons, John and Michael, and his wife, Lisa. Above all, she was a proud and loving grandmother to her granddaughter, Kayla, who truly meant the world to her. She is also survived by her two loving sisters, Judy and Linda, and her two nephews, Danny and David.
Marlene graduated from Linden High School in 1967 before attending beauty school. She went on to fulfill her dream of owning her own hair salon, which she operated for many years. For her, being a hairdresser was about much more than styling hair. It was about the friendships, conversations, and special bonds she formed with her clients. Even after stepping away from running the salon, she continued washing hair, enjoying the company of her longtime clients and the conversations they shared. Many of those clients became more like friends and family.
After fully retiring, she enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, where she could relax, have fun, and enjoy herself.
She will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication to her work, and the many friendships she made along the way. Most of all, she will be remembered as a mother and grandmother whose love will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The Lynch family will be holding services privately.
