Marlon Roberto Leon Paz

Marlon Roberto León Paz, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on January 19,2026. Marlon was diagnosed with a specific brain cancer called Glioblastoma. He had been fighting this cancer since February 15th, 2025 and fought hard for almost a full year. He went through radiation and multiple chemo treatments at Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ and at NYU Langone.

He was a devoted and loving husband to Brenda Yadira León whose marriage was built on deep love, respect, and unwavering commitment. Brenda was his partner in every sense, standing beside him through life’s joys and challenges, sharing dreams, laughter, and countless memories. Even while bravely battling brain cancer, Marlon continued to show affection, devotion, and adoration for his wife. Through every hardship, his love for Brenda never wavered, shining through in quiet moments, gentle words, and the strength of their bond. Above all, Marlon was a dedicated and deeply loving father to Daniella, Gabriella and Sofia León. He enjoyed watching movies with his girls and especially going to Disney World and becoming a kid again. His greatest joy came from being present for his daughters—encouraging them, protecting them, and loving them unconditionally.

Marlon was loved by many and is survived by his wife, daughters, mother, sisters and brother. His father passed away on 11/02/2025 and we are sure that they are reunited and watching over their loved ones.

Marlon lived life with adventure and purpose. He was a true go-getter, never afraid of hard work and always willing to do whatever it took to provide, protect, and care for the people he loved. His strong work ethic was matched only by his kind heart. He gave freely of himself, whether through his time, his energy, or his unwavering support.

Marlon found happiness in the simple moments, like BBQing and enjoying the pool in the summers, hosting over the holidays and playing DJ and especially his love for the New York Yankees. Some of his most cherished memories were the times spent watching Yankees games with his daughter Sofia, sharing laughs, multiple FaceTime calls and text messages full of excitement, and unforgettable moments that will forever be held close to the heart.

Those who knew Marlon will remember his warm smile, adventurous spirit, and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he met. He left a lasting impression not through grand gestures, but through consistency, love, and the example he set every day.

Though our hearts ache with his loss, we are grateful for the memories we shared and the life he lived. His love, strength, and joyful spirit will continue to guide us. Marlon R. León Paz will be deeply missed and forever loved. Thank you to everyone who made Marlon smile throughout the years.

Marlon Roberto León Paz falleció en paz en su hogar, rodeado de su familia, el 19 de Enero de 2026. Marlon fue diagnosticado con un tipo específico de cáncer cerebral llamado Glioblastoma. Estuvo luchando contra esta enfermedad desde el 15 de Febrero de 2025 y peleó con valentía durante casi un año completo. Recibió tratamientos de radiación y múltiples quimioterapias en Overlook Hospital en Summit, NJ, y en NYU Langone.

Fue un esposo devoto y amoroso de Brenda Yadira León, con quien compartió un matrimonio basado en un amor profundo, respeto y un compromiso inquebrantable. Brenda fue su compañera en todo sentido, permaneciendo a su lado durante las alegrías y los desafíos de la vida, compartiendo sueños, risas e incontables recuerdos. Incluso mientras luchaba valientemente contra el cáncer cerebral, Marlon continuó demostrando afecto, devoción y adoración por su esposa. A través de cada dificultad, su amor por Brenda nunca flaqueó, brillando en los momentos silenciosos, en palabras suaves y en la fortaleza de su vínculo.

Por encima de todo, Marlon fue un padre dedicado y profundamente amoroso para Daniella, Gabriella y Sofia León. Disfrutaba ver películas con sus niñas y, especialmente, ir a Disney World, donde podía volver a ser un niño. Su mayor alegría provenía de estar presente para sus hijas: alentándolas, protegiéndolas y amándolas incondicionalmente.

Marlon fue amado por muchos y le sobreviven su esposa, sus hijas, su madre, sus hermanas y su hermano. Su padre falleció el 2 de Noviembre de 2025, y estamos seguros de que ahora están reunidos y cuidando de sus seres queridos desde el cielo.

Marlon vivió la vida con aventura y propósito. Fue una persona emprendedora, nunca temerosa del trabajo duro y siempre dispuesto a hacer lo que fuera necesario para proveer, proteger y cuidar a las personas que amaba. Su fuerte ética de trabajo solo era igualada por su gran corazón. Se entregaba por completo, ya fuera con su tiempo, su energía o su apoyo incondicional.

Marlon encontraba felicidad en los momentos simples, como hacer BBQ, disfrutar de la piscina durante los veranos, recibir a familiares y amigos en las fiestas, ser el DJ de la casa y, especialmente, en su amor por los New York Yankees. Algunos de sus recuerdos más preciados fueron los momentos compartidos viendo los juegos de los Yankees con su hija Sofia, compartiendo risas, múltiples llamadas por FaceTime, mensajes de texto llenos de emoción y momentos inolvidables que siempre permanecerán en el corazón.

Quienes conocieron a Marlon lo recordarán por su sonrisa cálida, su espíritu aventurero y la genuina bondad que ofrecía a todos los que conocía. Dejó una huella duradera no a través de grandes gestos, sino por su constancia, su amor y el ejemplo que dio cada día. Aunque nuestros corazones duelen por su partida, agradecemos profundamente los recuerdos compartidos y la vida que vivió. Su amor, fortaleza y espíritu alegre continuarán guiándonos. Marlon R. León sera profundamente extrañado y amado por siempre. Gracias a todos los que hicieron sonreír a Marlon a lo largo de los años.
