

Raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Marta attended elementary and high school there before dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. She devoted herself fully to caring for her home and loved ones, always offering warmth, guidance, and unconditional love.
She was married for 54 wonderful years to her beloved husband, Ramon Candelaria Sr., with whom she built a strong and loving home.
Marta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on family, love, and faith.
She was the proud and loving mother of three children: Angel Rivera, Ramon Candelaria Jr., and Araceli Candelaria.
Her legacy continues through her ten cherished grandchildren: Ashley Rivera, Destiny Rivera, Angelique Rivera, Jesus Ferrer, Joseph Ferrer, Meilanie Ferrer, Mariah Guzman, Jacqueline Candelaria, Ramon Candelaria III, DeJuan Daniels, and Brianna Garcia. She was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Dominic Augustave, who brought her great joy.
Marta is also survived by her beloved in-laws: Tamar Candelaria, Miguel Sanchez, and Diana Cortes-Rivera.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Antonia Sanchez and Francisco Cruz Sr., as well as three of her brothers. She leaves behind one brother and four sisters who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Marta will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the many lives she has touched.
Visitation will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, US, on March 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
