Con profundo dolor y con el corazón lleno de tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Martha Ramos de Mosquera, quien partió de este mundo el 22 de septiembre de 2026, en su hogar en Roselle, Nueva Jersey, rodeada del amor de su familia.
Martha nació el 5 de junio de 1956 en Chaparral, Tolima, Colombia, hija de la fallecida Carmenza Ramos. Fue una esposa dedicada, madre amorosa, abuela cariñosa, hermana y amiga, cuya vida estuvo marcada por el amor, la fortaleza, la dedicación y un profundo compromiso con su familia.
Durante 53 años, Martha compartió su vida junto a su amado esposo, Alirio Mosquera. Juntos formaron un hogar y una familia llena de recuerdos, sacrificios, trabajo, momentos difíciles y, sobre todo, mucho amor. Fue la orgullosa madre de Herberth, Jorge y Andres, y una abuela que encontró una gran alegría en sus nietos.
Martha fue una mujer trabajadora, responsable y perseverante. Se desempeñó como asistente de cuidado en el hogar y niñera, dedicando su tiempo y esfuerzo al cuidado de otras personas. Su ética de trabajo era incomparable. Para ella, cumplir con sus responsabilidades y hacer las cosas bien no era una opción, sino una forma de vivir. Su ejemplo de esfuerzo, disciplina y dedicación quedará para siempre en sus hijos y nietos.
También disfrutaba de las cosas sencillas que llenaban su corazón. Le encantaba tejer y hacer crochet, creando con sus propias manos con paciencia y cariño. Disfrutaba mucho de la lectura, especialmente de las novelas románticas, encontrando en sus libros momentos de tranquilidad, ilusión y felicidad.
Martha fue precedida en la muerte por su madre, Carmenza Ramos, y por su hermano Alfredo. Deja para continuar su legado a su amado esposo, Alirio Mosquera; sus hijos, Herberth, Jorge y Andres; sus nietos; sus hermanos Juan, Fernando y Esperanza; y muchos familiares y amigos que siempre llevarán su recuerdo en el corazón.
La vida de Martha fue un ejemplo de amor, familia, trabajo y perseverancia. Su partida deja un vacío imposible de llenar, pero el amor que entregó, las enseñanzas que dejó y todos los momentos compartidos permanecerán para siempre en la memoria de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y amarla.
Martha será profundamente extrañada, siempre recordada y eternamente amada.
Que Dios la reciba en sus brazos y le conceda el descanso eterno.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a reunirse en la funeraria Krowicki McCracken (2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, NJ) para el velatorio, que tendrá lugar el viernes 23 de septiembre de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. La misa funeral se celebrará en la iglesia Immaculate Conception (425 Union Ave, Elizabeth, NJ) el sábado 24 de septiembre de 2026 a las 10:30 a. m. Posteriormente, tendrá lugar el sepelio en el cementerio Saint Gertrude, en Colonia, NJ.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Ramos de Mosquera, who passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at her home in Roselle, New Jersey, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Martha was born on June 5, 1956, in Chaparral, Tolima, Colombia, to the late Carmenza Ramos. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by love, dedication, strength, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
For 53 years, Martha shared her life with her beloved husband, Alirio Mosquera. Together, they built a family and a life filled with memories, hard work, sacrifice, and love. She was the proud mother of Herberth, Jorge, and Andres, and a loving grandmother who cherished her grandchildren.
Martha was a woman who believed in working hard and doing everything with pride. She worked as a home health aide and nanny, caring for others with the same dedication and compassion she brought to her own family. Her work ethic was second to none. She understood the value of responsibility, perseverance, and giving her very best every day. Her example will remain with her children and grandchildren for generations to come.
Outside of work and family, Martha enjoyed the simple things that brought her peace and happiness. She loved knitting and crocheting, creating things with her hands with patience and care. She also loved reading, especially romance novels, finding joy in the stories and worlds within the pages of her books.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother, Carmenza Ramos, and her brother, Alfredo. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alirio Mosquera; her sons, Herberth, Jorge, and Andres; her grandchildren; her siblings Juan, Fernando, and Esperanza; and many other relatives and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Martha's life was a testament to the power of love, family, hard work, and perseverance. Although her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, the love she gave, the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will remain with her family forever.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
May she rest in peace.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home; 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, NJ; for a visitation from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, September 25, 2026. A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church; 425 Union Ave, Elizabeth, NJ; at 10:30am on Saturday, September 26, 2026. An interment will follow at Saint Gertrude's Cemetery Colonia, NJ.
