Mary Eileen Conaty

Mary Eileen Conaty passed away after a long hard battle with cancer on June 9th 2023. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family, she was 85 years old ,she will be truly missed. Mary Eileen Conaty was born on March 4th 1938. She is survived by her children Mary Patricia Schiavo, James Conaty, Brendan Conaty, Charlotte Orejuela, and Sean Conaty; 11 grandchildren, and niece Christine Diaz , who was part of Mary's extended family. She was preceded by her husband James Conaty and son Michael Conaty.

Mary Eileen Conaty was born in Enniscrone Ireland One of nine children of Michael and Mary Kelly..Later immigrated to the US at age 18, met and Married James Conaty and started a family and became a homemaker. Was a resident of Elizabeth NJ for over 50 years.

Mary Eileen Conaty enjoyed the beach and dancing, she was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

A visitation for Mary will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue Linden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday, June 16, 2023, 9:00 AM from the funeral home. Mass will be held at St. Genevieve's Church, Elizabeth, 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
