Matthew L. Ziobro

Born on May 1, 1926 in Godowa Poland to his parents, the late Helena and John Ziobro, and step-mother, Mary Ziobro. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Nicol and brother, Emil Ziobro.

Matthew loved and cherished his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to the very end. He touched so many lives in his lifetime with his generosity and kindness. He will be in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Emily (Wnek) Ziobro and his children. His daughter, Bernadette Medway and her husband Joseph who predeceased him in 2020, Stella Pfeifer and her husband Kyle, Robert Ziobro and his wife Jill, Deborah Pearce and her husband Todd.

Matthew was also the cherished and very much loved grandfather to his grandchildren Paul and Elizabeth Medway, Kyle John and Lauren Pfeifer, Matthew Pfeifer and Brenda Danial, Christopher Pfeifer, Lexi Ziobro, Natalie Pearce, and Madison Pearce. He was also predeceased by his loving grandsons Michael and Joseph Matthew Medway. He also leaves behind his cherished great grandchildren, Benjamin and Charlotte Medway along with his many nieces and nephews.

Matthew was also a member of the Polish Alliance and Sons of Poland for many years.

A visitation for Matthew will be held on Monday, January 31,2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Krowicki McCraken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Ave., Linden, NJ. A Christian mass will be celebrated at St. Adalbert's RC Church in Elizabeth, NJ from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday February 1, 2022. Interment will be at the Mount Calvery Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
