Nancy and I went to high school together and we were great friends! Our life’s went down different paths and we lost touch. When I turned 50 (we were born in the same year) even though I was born in May and she was born in December she never let me the fact that I was older) she called me and invited me to spend a week with her at the Jersey shore, and that lasted for years. And so our friendship was rekindled we had many good times together! We didn’t agree on everything but we did have a great time. I think about her a lot and really couldn’t post until now. I will miss you forever my friend! Until we meet again! 


I "worked" with Nancy for many years over the phone helping with billing issues while she was at Elizabeth General and I worked at an insurance company in MN.  Even after she no longer was billing to our company, and after she retired she always kept in touch by phone or text.  She and I had many conversations over the years about our love for the beach and she "watched" my daughter grow up with pictures in Christmas cards and pictures I'd send via text.  I never met Nancy, but she was a wonderful soul and I will miss our conversations, even though they were few and far between.  Enjoy the rest of your days looking out over the ocean, Nancy!

Worked with Nancy for 5 years at Elizabeth General Hospital. We spoke almost weekly talking about our favorite TV shows and how my children had grown up.  Her sense of humor was like mine and we laughed often on the phone.  The last time my wife and I were in NJ we went to lunch at a diner Nancy recommended.  The last time I spoke to her was on May 11, 2019 and she did not sound her cheerful self.  I just learned today she had passed away.  A true friend who will be terribly missed.

Nancy,  Thank you for all the wonderful conversations we shared during our beach days in Ortley.    Your spunky personality certainly added many laughs to my day. I don't know if this is the Nancy Liss that frequented Ortley Beach NJ, but if it is, you are sorely missed by all you've talked to over the years .   Everyone is looking for you.  It was a pleasure talking to you and taking pictures with my children.   I'll miss your texts and conversations.
