1981 – 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Oscar A. Escobar, age 44, of New Jersey, who left us on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Oscar made New Jersey his home in 1999, where he built a life full of love, laughter, and deep connections.
Oscar was a dedicated realtor who worked with honesty and integrity, earning the trust and respect of everyone who knew him. Beyond his work, he was known for his enormous heart, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty. Oscar was the kind of person you could always count on — genuine, transparent, and ready to help anyone in need.
He loved playing soccer, sharing good moments with friends, and spending time with the people he loved most. Above all, his greatest joy came from being “Tío Chiqui” to his nephews Sergio, Sebastián, and Nikolas, and his niece Gabriella. His love and pride for them were boundless, and his presence brought warmth and laughter to every family gathering.
Oscar is survived by his loving father, Jairo Escobar, his devoted brother Diego, and his caring sister Eliana, along with his in-laws, Mauricio and Marisela, and his cherished nephews and niece. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia, whose memory he always held close to his heart.
His spirit will live forever in the hearts of those he touched — through his kindness, loyalty, and the love he gave so freely.
Oscar will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend — a man whose smile could brighten any room and whose heart was as big as his love for life itself.
Your light will never fade.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Oscar’s life on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home.
