Chandanapally Pathanamitta, Kerala, India and was called to his
eternal abode on November 2nd, 2020 in his home in Union, New
Jersey, USA. He was the only son of seven children born to Mr.
Daniel Pandhaplavil and Mrs. Aleyamma Pandhaplavil. He
worked as civil engineer in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India and
later worked under the late governor, K.M. Chandy, as his superior
administrative official. He emigrated from India to the United
States in May, 1989. As a faithful member of St. Gregorios Syrian
Orthodox Church, he was able to continue his strong faith in our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He had a heart of gold and was known for his punctuality,
generosity, and perseverance. He was a driven individual with a
simple life, but he lived each day with piety and fulfillment. He
taught us to find enjoyment even in the simplest of things and was
often found reading the Bible and praying the rosary. He always
entertained us with stories of his childhood and emphasized the
importance of prayer to all of his children and grandchildren from
an early age. As the heart and soul of our family, he will be forever
missed. May God give rest to his eternal soul.
He is survived by his wife, Kochanamma George; his children:
Manu George, Mini Thomas, and Moni Chacko; their respective
spouses: Lovely George, Shyam Thomas, and Jacob Chacko; and
his grandchildren: Ashley Thomas, Justin George, Jenny George,
Elizabeth Chacko, Andrew Chacko, and Matthew Thomas.

“ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
