Ramdeo "Dennis" Ramroop

Ramdeo “Dennis” Ramroop was born on February 7th, 1961, in Berbice, Guyana to the parents of the late Ramcoomar “Basil” & Kayoulie Persid. He was the only son of four children. Dennis moved to America in 1980 at the age of 18, living in Jersey City before settling later in life in Linden New Jersey.

He was a hardworking and a sociable person, touching the lives of everyone he met. Dennis was full of humor, respect, and had a very big heart. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle, and nephew.

On February 28, 2022, Dennis was called home to be with the Lord and he will dearly be missed.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Indira and his beloved children Roxanne, Kevin, and Bryan. Along with being the beloved father-in law to Jon and Shalayna, and cherished grandfather of Liam, Ava, and Lilyanna. He is the devoted brother to Desire, Annet and Leta, the brother-in law of Tony, Bhagwandat, and Michael, and the son-in-law of Baby Validum. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Saturday March 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as well as Sunday March 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home from 9:00AM to 10AM the following day. A funeral mass will take place Monday, March 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 37 Warner Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07305. A funeral will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, 823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306, where Dennis will be laid to rest in his final resting place.
