Ray Robinson

Ray Robinson, 64, of Elizabeth, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2020. Ray was born on July 19, 1955 in Augsburg, West Germany. Ray was a hardworking, dedicated man whom was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever was in need. Ray Robinson and his twin brother Fred were Plainfield High School Football Stars from 1971-1972. At 17, Ray and his twin brother Fred enlisted together into the Marine Corps. Ray served during the Vietnam War as a Corporal from 1973-1976. Ray is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Sarah Robinson, Robin Holmes - Robinson, and his father Big Fred. Ray is survived by his mother Ruth Jones, twin brother Fred, wife Michelle, nephews; Javon and Xavier Robinson of Apopka, FL, brother Wesley and wife Marivel Jones of Bordentown, NJ, sister Ruthie Nyiri, her husband Lou and 2 sons Danny and Mikie Nyira of Yardley, Pa, Ray’s 3 sons; little Ray, Jared, and Charles Robinson, granddaughter Robin Robinson. Ray was loved by so many including Joyce Judd, Patrick J. O’Grady and his family, and many many others. No services will be held at this time.
