With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, the family of Reginal Nelson Desir announces his unexpected and tragic passing on November 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and close friends. Even in his short time with us, he managed to fill every heart he touched with love, compassion, and a quiet brilliance that will never fade.
Born on August 18, 1987, in Newark, New Jersey, to Marie Carmen Desir and Joseph Camille Desir, Reginal was their only son from their union. From an early age, he brought immeasurable joy, love, and light to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Reggie was gentle in spirit and modest in nature, yet his rare charisma and genuine warmth made him unforgettable to all who crossed his path. Deeply influenced by the city’s rich artistic and musical culture, he developed a lifelong appreciation for self-expression. Reggie was an artist at heart and his passion for music led him to create rap songs reminiscent of the golden era of 1990s hip-hop, with sounds often compared to Nas. Beyond his artistry, Reggie was hardworking and dedicated, proudly serving at Union Beverage Company for more than seven years.
Taken from us far too soon, Reginal is survived by his loving parents, Marie Carmen Desir and Joseph Camille Desir; his sisters, Jennifer Charles, Amanda Bien-Aime Desir, and Chloe Camille Desir; his stepmother, Marie Guirlene Bien-Aime Desir; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory. In his calm and unassuming way, Reggie left behind a legacy of love and authenticity that time can never erase.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home,
