Robert Frances Cotroneo, 93, passed away on May 17, 2026. Born on August 19, 1932, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was a cherished and beloved presence in the lives of those who knew him. He later resided in Pompano Beach, Florida.
During the Korean conflict, Robert served his country as an army medic, answering a call to duty with steady devotion and quiet strength. In civilian life, he established a career as an insurance agent, bringing the same reliability and care to his work that marked his life beyond it.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Angela "Ginger" Cotroneo. He leaves behind his son Frank and wife Diane Cotroneo; son Lee and Jamie Cotroneo; seven wonderful grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Committal services will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, US, on June 10, 2026, from 12:45 pm to 1:00 pm.
